that's nice too.... it's got protection inside the jacket as well - that's one thing i like about my friends jacket so much!!!
the helmet, i'm not sure but hopefully about half price....

I have a cycle gear store around where I live so I will just go in there over this coming weekend and browse through this stuff.... it needs to feel comfortable as well as be a good protection when riding!!! Hopefully then I will have a better take on what's what.... I will also see if they will give me some crazy out of this wolrd deal if I get all this stuff at the same time!!! Never know.... so i got back from cycle gear.....
as to the helmet I'm set....
they recommended the following:
AlpineStar Stage Leather Jacket $379.00
AlpineStar Bat Leather Pants: $219
AlpineStar Web Leather Boots: $169
AlpineStar SP2 Gloves: $79
so anyone have any input on these for me?
I will do my reaserch as well and try to see if I can get them cheaper else where..... I know Dennis Kirk is having bunch of sales now as well..... or even eBay....

im sure you can search for a better price and find it. i like alot of the a star products but ill tell you why i like icon.
1. its priced competitvly
2. its geared more towards the street rider, not the racer.
3. everyone carrys it.
i have some sp3 a star gloves i paid 50 bucks for on sale, regularly 89. you just have to search. it dont really matter what you wear as long as your geared up.

so if i get it from them it would be $846 - 10% plus tax= $828 OTD with the helmet which I'm gettting for $200 it's at about what I wanted to spend on the gear and feel hella safe!!! Checked on eBay and I see I could get a little better prices.... still need to search a little more, I will look at some of the guys on here that advertise as well!
since we do have the gear section now, maybe the guys that advertise on here could come in and give some deals out....
we have them all the time on my car forum.... just an idea, but maybe they could work up some better prices for us here... [sm=drooldude.gif]
