Gear for Girls
Hey All,
I am looking to get some new gear this year as I am going from being a passenger to actually riding me own bike. I am just wondering what girls are wearing. In Calgary there isn't much gear selection for females. I like the Stella 7-2 jacket, and the AGV Stealth Pink helmet, but they aren't sold in stores here. Just wondering if anyone ownes either, would like some reviews. And also if there are any cheap gear sites.
Thank

Sorry, I'm a guy. don't know anything about pink helmets but I do have a pink tooth-brush. I'll sell it to you if you want!!! Or even let you use it if you come over -- but don't think you can come by when I'm not here and steal it 'cause I keep it with me at all times for exactly that reason.
Seriously, sorry, I can't help you with the helmet issue. I got an HJC helmet(C-15 model I think it is) when I got my own bike and started riding about a year ago. They're actually a good idea even if they don't require them where you are. I haven't dropped my bike or been in an accident yet but I've had rocks and pebbles thrown up from the road by tires of other traffic that have hit the side of the helmet while riding. Good idea to wear one!!!

The women's Icon gear looks pretty good I think. Also, multiple websites offer deep discounts on Icon gear. Try metricbikes superstore, or SandhillsPowersports just as a couple websites with good Icon discounts.

You can get some info from this site www.curveunit.comI have ridden with these girls. Some are crusiers and some of the race. I'm sure they help you out.
