I think the Alpinestarswould bea good medium between full boots and comfort. I bought some icon boots (The standard kind), but I wasn't impressed with how impossible they were to get on or take off. Maybe their higher end boots are better though.

Those are really nice. I'm still trying to find a nice street boot that I can shift with.

Found them on e-bay from maybe riders discount for 169.00 new. But the A-star smxor Sidi'sabout the same price. But I like the field aromor boots 'cause it looks like more smash protection.

I ride with Sidi boots most of the time. Very comfortable and well made. Oh, and super lite weight.

I bought the Alpine Star Liek these. I bought my sons and mine at the same time. Aswome boots and very comfotable. You can walk and shift in these things no problems at all. For 169.00 not a bad price

did your icons losen up?

i bought the full field armor boots and when i first got them they were stupid stiff and impossible to get on and off. but after using them for a while they really softened up.

No, they're still tight. But it's probably because I rarely wear them.

Those field armor boots look bulky and uncomfortable. Are they?
