backrest
Hi All,
I'm looking for an OEM backrest for my 2006 bn125 eliminator. I see lots of pics on the internet (mostly UK) but I can't seem to locate someone (anyone) who is selling them. Any help greatly appreciated. THANKS!

RE: backrest
For whatever reason, they don't sell them in the US. My son has a 2007 Eliminator and we went all over the internet trying to find accessories for his bike. Finally, we gave up and decided to do it ourselves. He now has a windshield, hard mounted saddlebags, lowers for the windshield, extended foot pegs, backrest, crampbuster (for cruising) and a sound system for his bike. He is always trying to add something else to it.
What we done and I would recommend it, is to find a standard back rest that is in a L shape and drill holes in it to match up with the holes in the "brow" around the fender. You can screw it in there and it should hold good. You could pick up our bike with the backrest and it won't come off the bike.
Hope this helps. If you want to see a picture of his bike, let me know and I will try to upload one.

JD, thanks for the reply..........so I'm not going crazy! I did find a used OEM backrest on ebay, but it was in the UK, and the seller was unwilling to ship it to the States. So I think I'll take your advise and craft one of my own. THANKS!

Welcome Kris .. there are a couple of backrest on Ebay now. You may have to judge the condition of them, but it might give you a place to start.
