ZX6R 07 08 SS LED FENDER ELIMINATOR Install!
Installing the;
KAWASAKI ZX6R 07 08 SS LED FENDER ELIMINATOR!
The instructions in the kit do not cover the full detail of the install, but as long as you have a concept of visualizing how things are assembled, you won't have any problems.
I'm only posting about the brake light wiring because It was the most difficult for me.
The turn signals only have two wires for L&R as the license plate led has two wires.
There are three wires for the brake operations. If you connect it correctly, the LED's should always be on, (red with my kit) and get brighter when applying foot and or hand brakes.
I blew two fusses trying to connect the correct wiring!
The OEM wiring is Red - Blue - Black with a Yellow stripe.
Connect as follows,
Red to Orange - Blue to Black - BY to Black.
Hopefully this will help someone because I searched online and couldn't find much.
A lot of try this and that. No help at all!
(if you don't have the answer, do everyone a favor and don't guess)
If you happen to blow a fuse, Just remove the right inside black cowlings two hex screws, twist a little and the black plastic piece will pop out exposing the fuze box.
