Default Winter project stuff...

I just finished putting this together today:
It's a 1995 ZX9R. It's still 899cc but I massaged it a little. Nothing major, just enough to liven it up. Stock cams, bumped compression a little bit, ignition advancer, ZX7R (1991-1994) valve springs, etc...The flatslides will stay on it when it's put in a bike. I still need to order some bolts for the head cover and change out the adapters on the airbox for the flatslides to mount. It's just sitting there right now.

Currently I have no bike to put it in. I'm going to put it in my engine cabinet with the others until I can get a bike built from the 92 ZX7 frame I have sitting here staring at me.

Thanks, you're to kind. I sandblasted and painted everything with a cast aluminum high temp engine paint while it was apart. I want this bike to look as good as possible for as long as possible so I'm doing things like that as I build it. The frame and all metal parts will get painted or powder coated as I go along. This won't be a fast build but it will be beautiful when I'm done.

Jeff, in my opinion flatslides are the #1 reason to own a carburetor bike. I won't be letting that set go anywhere for a long time. They're from a 92 ZX7R. You probably already know they're 39mm of Kiehin goodness and they come with a choke. If I ever do sell them I will notify you before anybody else.

Gotcha.

Sometimes the short bus just doesn't travel to where I'm located.
