Don't know too much about lowering links but surely some one will be around this week-end to help.

its to ways you can lower a bike thru the top tripple trees or lowering links for the rear, if you lower the front you want to loosen up the clamps and slide the forks thru the tripple trees, if you lower the rear you will need lowering links i have adjustable kind with 3 settings, stock, 2 inch, 4 inch drop

Lowering the front sharpens the steering. This can be a positive, go too far and the bike becomes unstable. Lowering the rear has the reverse effect and you have a bike hat only wants to go straight.

Lowering both keeps the balance, but the wheelbase can end up shortened enough to cause unpleasant pitching.

Lowering it for the look is fine as long as you're aware that the bike might not be so nice to ride. A lot of riders don't have the ability to notice the difference.

yup. you'll need links to drop it in the back.. or, make your own. typically, .100" more on a link equates to a 1" drop. my chit is slam-o, so i can walk ya thru as well if you get the stuff.

welcome to KF!!
