Default Jet Kit

i have an 05 ninja 500R and i am puting in the dynojet jetting kit. I already have the Jet's and needle'sin and now it is saying 2 drill out the fuel mixture plug. tryed 2 find it but the pic they give is ****ty.. not even sure if i have to drill it out because its dual carb and they only gave me 1 screw 2 replace it with.. anyone have any experiance with this???

My take on this are getting the caps/plugs "drilled out" so that you can adjust the a/f screws.

If that is the case, I used a small punch to pierce and pry the cap/plug out.

Go to factory pro's website also. There should be more info on your bike.

The screw they give you is to pull the plugs out after you drill the small holein the plug. PLugs are small brass things on the rear of carbs. Be very careful, if you drill through you will rund the screw inside all the way into carband need a rebuild. Make sure you are replacing the right jets also. No, I didn't make these mistakes, but I had amechanic help me install and he was full of jet-kit horror stories.

+1 ive seen some bad do it yourself jobs come in, the screw like zzrick said is to take out the EPA tamper proof blocks, drill a smaller hole then screw it in and pull straight out, NOTE when you are drilling GO slow very slow, soo slow you might fall asleep better safe than sorry
