Nice write-up Evil. Also check out T-Rex stands on ebay. High quality and low prices. I bought a front triple clamp stand for $80 shipped and it works great.

Ok now I am going to sound like a complete idiot and I'm ready for that. But why would you need one of these service stands? Of the three bikes I have been around none of them used anything but the regular kick stand or a center stand. I assume it is just to be more stable like a center stand is but without the added weight of being attached to the bike? If there is some other logic to it I would really love to hear it as it has never made much more sense than that. I know one guy with a sportbike and he has one. His reason was that the racers had them so he bought it which didn't do much for me.

You can't get motorcycle jacks to hold the bike level on the ZX's/ ninjas firstly because of the fairings and second due to the exhausts inderneath the engine & frame. The swingarm, forkor triple tree stands are the best, cheapestand most efficient way to work on them.
