Gave my bike a fresher look by replacing the turn signals
When I bought starter/beater/project bike it was easy to over look the dry rot on the turn signal stalks.....untill they started falling off. So after fashioning brackets and using up a roll of Gorilla Tape, I decided it was time to replace my turn signals. Thing is OEM parts are $$$$$ and if I had the $20 to $50 for EACH signal, well I wouldn't have bought a $850 bike (still a great deal by the way). After much thought and consideration in the aftermarket (stick with chrome, go LED, carbon look), I went with a set of black, no name, short stalk, arrowhead, blinkers from luckybike-accessories on ebay. I ordered these at 5:30pm on Wednesday and they arrived at 10:30am on Saturday. Total investment.....just inder $36 including the extra $1 I paid for USPS priority shipping, a cut thumb, and a little over an hours time. The reward.....no more carrying around Gorilla Tape in my backpack and a clean street fighter.....well a cleaner, fresher look for my bike. Follow along in the pics. as I mount them on my '88 Kawasaki EL 250 Eliminator. And the pics. are in reverse order so go to the last three first and work your way back by three's.
