Default Fuses

Hi all

I am new to forum. I have just bought a 2007 KLX 250.

While I was refitting the indicators I accidently cut a wire in the lighting loop while the ignition was on. Now the headlight and tail light dont work. The brake light, indicators and panel lights work and ignition all work fine. I have changed the rear bulb but rear light still doesn't work (brake light still does work).

Can someone tell me where the fuse is located as I am sure that must be the problem?

Welcome to KF

Hit up the klx section after you peruse your owners manual. I am not sure where on the klx, except for the normal places like under the seat as being the most likely spots for the fuse boxes on most rides. Good luck

Under the seat, attached to the top of the rear fender IIRC, a little black unit that can be slipped off it's holder and opened.

Welcome!

Thanks. I have had the seat off and checked the only fuse I could see there. It was a 20A fuse and it looked OK to me. The front bulb is OK to. It has me confused.
A parts supplier I spoke to said there might be a fuse behind the front light but I have not checked there yet.

I dont have a manual for it yet so I am struggling.

Problem sorted. I found a small fuse holder with two glass fuses in it under the seat as well. One was blown. Replace it with spare and lights now working.
