thanks notstock for the tutorial. i'm a ride virgin, but i've been riding bit*h since i was about 2 years old, everyone i know and their dogs has a bike and i'm looking to get my first before my birthday on st. patty's day this year. all of this information is great to know before hand. so when the time arises i'm ahead of the game lol. also thanks to kohburn for theadded info, a second opinion is always appreciated. thanks again guys.

i also get nervous about the pin staying put once i put it back together, so usually use vise grips to gnar the ends of the pin so it can't work its way backout.

I got my chain cleaned lubed using kerosene and chain wax
