Default wax or no wax?

I have heard alot of rumors stating that you should not use wax on your bike....

is this true? what do you recommend the best quick clean method.

currently I am just spraying her down and drying her off...but it always leaves grease flings etc. i dont really have any bike cleaning products..so anything around the house that would be good to use would be a good tip.

we both use Honda polish for day to day cleaning and shine, but we do use wax after a good washing...it is Wax it Dry by Armor All...

Man, where do you get rumors like this? Yes! Use wax at least once a year. Some polish wouldn't hurt either to keep the shine up.

A lot of people like the Honda polish. I use Meguiar's waxes and polishes. Mother's would be good too. Just my opinion.
