RE: OLD CLASSICS PRE1980
hey dude there's plenty of us out there to watch your back. You can see my 74 H2 post in the forum. Lots of KZ guys here in Fresno. You ever see the movie "biker boys"???? That is based on a true club out here in Fresno , they are called the soul brother MC club and they all have the KZs with extended swingarms, sweet 70s paint jobs and chrome, chrome, chrome.

Some of us also have old and new. I enjoy taking the H-1 out every so often just to scare myself silly. Got alot of respect for the classics; they got us where we are today. Anybody who has only ridden a new bike(say, current to 10-15 years old)on this site owes it to themselves to throw a leg over a 2-stroke triple or a KZ. It's a different kind of experience, but just as (if not moreso in some ways) thrilling. The mechanicals make me smile, too. Great stuff!!

hi kneedeep, my current ride is a 79 zk1300 naked cruiser. you can call me mr. old school cause thats all i have eyes for and all i care anything about owning. learned long time ago that having the fastest bike was limited due to my pocketbook and riding ability. so i am very happy to ride this old classic6 cylinder cruiser. i see more and more older bikes on the road and with the cost of gas and people pulling those old school bikes out of the barns and garages and fixing them up as commuters, i suspect you will see more. its good to know others are out there and growing in numbers. ed, lenoir, nc
