RE: 2001 Vulcan 750
I definatly still like the bike. However it has devloped a ticking noise that I have found out from other forums that is bad cam shaft chain tensioners. I have put 2300 miles on it in the past month and a half. Ive about worn out the rear tire now. at 11,500 miles. As i am growing more used to and gaining experience riding I do believe i need a bigger more comfortable bike. I have joined a riding club that I really enjoy. Now on to find out how hard it is to replace tensioners

Hi, I am new to the forum but saw your question. I don't know if you are still woundering, but I had trouble with the head lite not working on my 96 Vulcan 750. Had to replace the stayter ( not sure of the spelling sorry).

Not looking to hijack this thread, but if any of you have pics of your bikes, you should put them in the photo gallery for future bike of the month nominations - we'd love to see some vulcans in there!
