Default To Vulcan 500 riders

From KW. Because I am a person of practicality, I have a few questions about the vulcan 500.

1) what is the gas mileage in city
2) what is gas mileage on highway
3) How would you rate the highway drive (70-75 mph) in aspects of smoothness, engine vibe, and seat comfortability.
4) How much space is there to carry luggage reasonably?
5) And for those who have added a tachometer, does it use direct coil ignition, and how many revos does it turn at 30, 50, and 70 mph?

I know its quite a bit to answer, but I am in search of a liquid cooled cruiser that packs carrying capacity without overburdening the engine, and comfortable enough for a 5-7 hour ride, (with minimal stops).

all answers appreciated.

Default RE: To Vulcan 500 riders

i drive my vulcan 500 around school and trips back to my parents house, i am a big guy (250lbs) and i can get it up to 100mph on the freeway.

1.) dont know exact figure but pretty good
2.) i make a trip back to the rents house (aprox. 100 miles) on one tank, i can get around 120 miles to the tank going 80mph on the freeway so thats about 30+mpg
3.) pretty damn smooth, although this is my first motorcycle i feel realy comfortable at higher speeds on it, although my *** usually falls asleep in about a hour of riding. the seat could be more comfortable.
4.)none. i dont have any saddlebags or sissybar so i cary everything in a backpack, the only other thing i have is a handlebar bag, but i have seen 500's with saddlebags and sissybars
5.) i need a damn tach so any information on how to hook them up or if they work for a 2cyl is appreciated.

BTW the manual says the load limit is 500lbs
on a 5-7 hour ride, i wouldnt be able to feel my ***
