Default '93 vn1500

Hi,
I have just bought a '93 VN1500, so thought it would be a good idea to register here.

I have always been a Suzuki GS man, so am in unknown territory with my new Kwak 1500 v-twin.

Just a few things.

What are peoples overall view of the VN1500?
How reliable are they?
How difficult are they to work on, as everything seems to be so compact, it seems at 1st glance you have to dismantle half the bike to get at something.
How do people raise these bikes to do maintenance/wpork on them, as they only have the sidestand.
What kind of mileage should I expect out of it if regularly maintained with oil changes, etc?

The model I have is the '93 VN1500 B6, It came with a VN15 SE-15 owners manual, I have seen it refered to as a Voyager 88, and also a vulcan, what is the actual models name? Sounds a silly question, but am new to these bikes.
Also, does anyone know which manual covers this model, as the only one I can find is a clymer manual for the VN1500....but that states it covers the VN1500 B1-B4.....not the B6?!

That'll do for now, soz if there's a lot of questions, but want to learn as much about it from the off.

BTW, its got 13,800 miles on the clock, which to me is quite low, but not sure how many miles is considered low or high before serious maintenance is needed.

Cheers

I knew I grabbed my VN1500 manual for something. The kawi service manual covers from 1987-1999.

Dragone, I believe the only manual that covers the B6 model, is the original Kwak workshop manual, Clymer ones only cover the B1-B4. So now trying to hunt down a Kwak workshop manual for the VN1500, without having to pay the ridiculous 'new' price which is £60 new from Kawasaki.
