Default The deej report 10/7/06

Well after signing a refinancing packet my wife and I decided it was waaaaaaay past time for just the two of us to go for a ride by ourselves. Forest service road, and I forgot it was opening day of deer season for bow and muzzle loader. Anyway, here are a few pics, it was a cold fall day, I guess I had better put the liner back in my new coat, and next time I am going to wear my riding pants. It was a weird day, early morning, not a cloud in the sky and by mid afternoon we had a cloud canopy that completely covered the sun. I didn't want to push it since she's a girl........I mean a new rider We ended the day at 45 miles, not bad for leaving at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Mid restroom break (she's gonna kill me if she sees this)

What an ugly mug huh?

Its a camel back, it has a water bladder built in and a hose so you can drink your favorite beverage while riding, and a million pockets in it, you wear it on your back like a backpack. Funny I didn't even know what a camel back was until the Poker run in July. I borrowed one from a friend. Here is a link to one.
