Default Sasquatch Poker Run

Well my camera is still in my pack, I just got out of the shower and I'm too tired to post too much, but only to say Tony and Scott are perhaps the best guys that I could have ever asked for in showing me my first poker run. Man it was hot, sweating all day, but fun. Pictures to follow. I tried to post from the Blackberry on the way home, but the Internet signal was low. I just wanted to post first before Scott and Tony

That's good, and I don't even drink beer, that makes it even funnier. Thanks Tony.

Ok so here is the official report. I didn't get too many pictures, but with Tony and Scott taking pics too, we should get a well rounded report of the trip. On my way to the Seven Cedars Casino I looked to my right to see two KLX bikes merging into traffic, and I said to my wife, that has to be Tony and Scott, and right behind them were a couple of riders that joined the group. We got to the casino at 8:00 and decided to ride back 5 miles to Sequim for breakfast. Finally we got back to the start and got our cards and instructions. Well we headed out to the second checkpoint at 41 or so miles on gravel, and man was it dusty. Somewhere between checkpoint 3 and 4 I lost my poker run punchcard, man was I bummed, but I had to finish, besides its not about what you get, but how much fun it is. We ended the day at Lake Cushman, a real dust bowl of a ride, I think I am going to be caughing up dirt for a few days, but it was a blast. Here are a few pics, hopefully Tony and Scott will add a few as well.

This first one is at the start with Scott and two other riders that we rode with, all really good riders, and as far as I know nobody crashed or got hurt, so it was a good day for sure.

This picture looks like Tony is laughing because he doesn't really know what he's sticking his hand into.

Here is one of Scott coming up the road from a lower place where they took some pics, and is probably also where I lost my card[:@]

Tony heading up the road to the next checkpoint.

Nice shot of Hood Canal

Is more than one KLX a pod? I think this is where Tony and Scott were trying to figure out what happened to the Suzuki's that were with us, we eventually saw them again.

Well my wife picked me up and after Tony and Scott helped me load the bike in they took off. We had about 2 and a half hours to drive home, and my sweet sweet wife drove so I could stick my face in the air conditioning vent and cool off. About 45 minutes from home we ran into a bug infestation that almost had us pulling to the side of the road, man it was brutal.

These last 3 pictures are of me cleaning my bike today, I just couldn't stand it any longer, and I serviced the air cleaner.

And this last one I call back to normal.

Well that's it from me. Now we wait for other pictures, and hopefully they won't make me look too bad.

Your wife drove 2 and a half hours to pick you up, well I'd say shes a keeper. lol.. How did your Muzzy preform? was it too loud for the long ride? Or was it just right..

It was awesome, and the power range was great. However I did discover that at 2500 ft I lost a bit of power, and had a slight sputter when I cracked the throttle too fast, but as soon as I got down towards 1000 ft and lower it was fine. Scott suggested that I change the main jet.

Thanks for the report, Deej. I was beginning to wonder if you guys made it. Nice photos. Was there any single track on that ride? Looks like a great time, regardless.
