Default Leather Saddlebags

Hi all, I am looking for suggestions for saddlebags on my wifes first bike, a 2005 Vulcan 500 LTD. I have only owned bikes with hard bags and the choices over whelm me ! I have been told not to buy throw over becouse they will mess up the fender paint, and I won't put them over the seat. I want "fake" leather, don't want the up keep of the real stuff. I would prefer to be able to remove the bags when wanted and don't want to spend a lot of $ as this is just a "learner" for my bride.
Please help, any and all suggestion would be very much appreciated, thanks, Craig

Default Saddlebags

OK, for those of you owning the Vulcan 500 LTD with saddlebags, please tell me what specific brand and style of bags you are using. I am having a hard time finding bags that will fit, without being able to see them !! Any and all help would be very much appreciated, thanks a bunch, Craig
