I used some 1/4 inch aluminium tubing thread in each end. I think the whole thing mounted to an aluminium dash that housed my GPS. Thats about all I can remember about it. I used it for one trip that was a lot of paved riding. I hated riding on pavement so removed all of that gear and have done mostly all off road trips since. There are other windshield options available but I don't know who makes them. They guys on this f forum will help you out.

No worries. Do you remember what you used for mounting (to the handle bars if I'm not mistaken)?

Sorry I don't have any good pics of it and I don't have it anymore. The windshield is froma Versys.

I have to agree, that windshield looks great. Not offensive looking on the little KLX. Can you tell/show me your mount setup? I've seen one set up using a KLX650 screen but it didn't look very solid. Yours looks pretty solid. How did it hold up?

    Thanks

Hey there, Thanks, It is from a Versys, I just cut it a bit and made it fit. It worked well. There are a number off aftermarket ones that you can find if you search this forum.

Windshield looks good. What kind, where'd you get it? Would be nice to keep a little wind off.
