Long Distance Touring on a KLX250s

I am trying to download 3 pics of the Rotopax, one of the mount, the rotopax and one ready for travel. I do not think that this is working right.
Note the tabs that were welded on the rack to accept the tank mount.

Im really digging that Rotopax, I think I will order the 1G, since the 2G looks a bit large without proper mounting (ala N/S).
Here is another question, Im trying to recall the range on my ride, from memory I believe I get around 200-250km (124-155 Miles) on a tank. Now the Canadian site says its 7 litres, however the US site says its 2G...
When I convert 2G into litres I get 7.5 litres. So... is it 7 or 7.5 litres?
Also, what type of milage/kilometerage are people getting. Buying the 1G would essentially boost my range by 50% so I should expect around 300-375Km on a full tank and full 1G can? Its a bit short of my old KLR, but probably still capable of any far north stretch..?
Why cant Acerbis just make a GD 09 4G tank!!!
Deej - since some of my tax money went into your tanks, I'm thinking you're obligated to fab one up for me... I'm thinking California may be able to meet that budget shortfall by fabing up their road signs...hmm....

The bag on the front of the bike is a hiker's fanny pack from Walmart, about $10 including the 2 water bottles, 1/2 litre each. The fanny pack comes with a belt with quick clip which I wrapped around the handlebars, then fixed in place with two electrical cable ties. I empty the bag when I wash the bike, leave the zippers open to dry.
I made a decision to put on the 2 gallon Rotopax because it was more versatile and a better value than the 1 gallon. To date, I have not needed the second gallon. Normally take the full 2 gallons when I enter the bush, better safe than sorry.

Definitely need an aftermarket tank for our bikes, that's the one complaint I have about these bikes - unless you want to count that little spring behind the oil filter lol. With a bigger tank these bikes would be able to hammer down some hard miles.
