Hello everyone,

I just purchased a KL650 Tengai. I have a few questions: where do you get parts? Any other Tengai owners out there? Where can I get a history report (like CarFax)?

Thanks.

JohnC,

With regard to parts. I might be wrong on this, but the only difference between the KLR650 and the Tengai is in the body plastics. It shares the same mechanicals.

Tengais are good looking bikes. Kind of like a crossbreeding of a Transalp and a KLR650.

How many miles on your Tengai?

Hey, I'm from CNY, near Unadilla MX. I have a Tengai, also. Mechanical differences from KLR: slightly less suspension travel, so lower seat height; two piston front brake, and fork brace hidden under low front fender. I love it, a good balance of street and dirt; no, not a hardcore off roader- but good enuff to ride single track in CO- and still boogie down the blvd @ 70mph. IRC GP110s and thick aluminium bellypan. T
