Default I traded my 2006 500 for a 2007 ZZR 600

I finally bit the bullet and traded my 500 for a 2007 ZZR 600. The bike shifts like butter and has great power...well I could only take it to 4000rpms...so from 0 to 50 I tore it up. Can't wait until the break-in period is done. I attached an online pic. I can't stop going to the garage to look at my bike.

congrats on the new wheels. where my family gets there bikes, the tech says just ride the bike, don't race it or keep it at a steady rpm. he said the break in period in the manual is ridiculous, keeping it under 4k is retarted. thats just one techs thoughts but i thought i'd share it with ya. i personally would just ride the bike.

Ive heard from some people the best way to break in the bike is the way you are really going to ride it, now I am NOT saying to go out and redline it but I honestly wouldnt worry about keeping it under 4k..................do the first service though 600 miles I think, or is it 500 miles??

I was told the same thing. Just roll on the throttle then roll off it and it...just don't full throttle it or ride it at 9000...

P.S. Congrats

Nice bike. The ZZR600 will be my next bike after this 500R. I haven't even ridden this "new-to-me" Ninja, and already I'm looking for the next bike. What's up with that?

HAHAHA, it is called having toys to play with at your leisure. That's why. Must be a guy thing on toys like a girl thing on shoes. Ya frickin got me on that answer.
