Default My Baby's New Voice

I got the call today, my new pipe will be at my doorstep friday afternoon. So she will be ready to sing for me on friday night, when I'm out on the town. I went with a two bro's carbon fiber set up, I looked into alot of other pipes. TB's are proven pipes, plus they come with about 250 dollars with accessories. That on top of getting it for 750, I couldn't in good concience pass it up [sm=lildevil.gif]

Pics will be up soon when I get all of her graphics done, and mods installed...

Congrats on the pipe(s). A tip to make the install alot easier- they dont tell you to, but take your brake side rearset off. Dont disconnect any lines, just undo the bolts and let it hang. This makes getting the stock pipe out, but makes puting the new one in VERY VERY easy. Trust me the 2min it takes to take it off will save you 15min and alot of frustration!! Other than that it is a very easy install. They also say you need 2 people to remove the stock pipe from the collecter, but mine slide right out with no problem. As for the wht 3m sticky wire holders they give you to hold the wires in place, they will stop sticking after a few miles. Black zip ties work alot better and you dont evev notice them. Any questions just ask.

Oh by the way your gonna love the exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

an hour and a half my white A$$, lol... I'm not gonna say how long it took to put my new exhaust on, but it took a little longer than the instructions quoted. I'm good with a wrench, and was surprised by the job... For anyone else who is going to put on a new exhaust and has a single downtube setup here are a few pointers that I woulda liked to have had.

Before you start check to see if they included high temp silicone... I had to make a run and get some halfway through, not cool

If it is a single piece setup, take off the rear brake assembly, and a plate that is behind it. Takes 2 minutes and will save ungodly amounts of time when trying to get your new pipe into the collector. ( I know it was already said by gotrice, but when I got to working on it I thought he had said rear pegs and took it off, oops)

Don't fire up your bike with new pipe(s) at 1 am, it will really really **** off the neighbors [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Gotrice, you are right. I love the setup, well worth the work. Just can't wait to take it out and run her through her paces. I went on an easy ride, didn't get a chacne to open her up much, but damn... She can be heard now... I'll put up some pics after I get finished with the graphics
