Anyone know if the top triple clamp design has changed since???? Speigler has a kit for 94 up but it is a short brake line extension for a 2 disk setup??? I'm doing braided SS lines anyway, just need to know if the top clamp design has changed so I can fit their bar mount. Thanks, Jim.

 

As far as I know, they have not changed. According to this link http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/sbk.cfm, they only sell two different kits for the EX500.

 

I spoke with them this morning before posting, they said the 94 up kit has the short brake line extension for the typical 2 disk set up where the line splits a few inches down the steering assembly.

 

As far as I know, Kawi has not made any changes to the 500 since 94. At that time, they changed to a 17" wheel, disc brakes on the rear and some fairing changes. Other than that, they are the same since they first made them. I would assume that the triple clamp is still the same.

You could check with Kawi or a dealer to confirm that though.
