Hi I'm a new member and A new owner of a 2005 meanstreak with V&H pipes and I'm wondering if I should make some intake and filter mods . Someone sujested a K&N and to drill holes in the backside of the filter housing to alow for more air flow to better preformance. I have owned large sport bikes in the past and I thought that the big 1600 might have a little more bite. Can someone help me turn this made dog loss.

I can't help ya much on that bike...But I bet someone can.

05 meanie is still carb huh? I am guessing you bought that for touring..... So I would leave the stock element in her. It will filter a lot better than the K&N, etc.....

Maybe a programmer?
