When do you like riding better? I like it at night, no cars on the road can just go along at my own pace....... but as long as it's not as hot as it's been lately I like the day almost as much

 

I like the days but the early evening runs are nice too. Lots of deer and moose around these parts, so riding at night can be tricky. I'd rather not have a dispute with a moose as to who belongs on the road , it would be very messy!

 

That's a hard call. I do enjoy night riding cause it is cooler out then, but then again day riding is nice cause you get to enjoy all the scenic routes. I don't care that I do the ride every weekend, but I love going thru New Paltz (in NY) and going over the mountain to the over looks. Especially when it's close to sunset, aaaaawwww... Gotta love it!

 

AH Mohonk mt. I used to live right at the bottom of that in Gardiner. Great riding roads. Have you gone up north to durham, Cairo, Hunter etc. great roads also. I know this was a really hard question, thought of that after I asked........

 

No, I never went that far up. I come over to Newburgh to meet up with my friends and then we just go on long, but short rides. I really like 301 from bear mountain bridge to cold springs... AWESOME road.

 

Bear mt. is a great ride too. haven't been on that for a while... hmm....think I need something to do tonight anyway....... LOL

Daytime for the twisty stuff, but nights for the long hauls because there's less truckers going in my direction here at night.

 

Day, I can see more of whats in front of me....night is cooler though

 

I'd have to say, when I start riding, it'll be during the day, since Im nightblind. My eyes don't focus to dark and I become totally blind. I can only see exactly where my headlights are shining and when a car comes at me, everything turns black except for his/her headlights facing me, so I dont drive at night at all.
