riding temp

Default riding temp

now that the weathers getting to be warm again was curious about how hot your bikes run....

the other day i was coming home around noon it was about 90 outside and i was running between 205 - 210 going about 60 in 6th gear

i would think even in the heat with the air going through the bike it would be around 170 190ish. ill go for a ride tomarrow and peep it out, its going to be freakin hot too.

thats what i was thinkin....maybe about a month or so back i know my coolant was a little low and i topped it of with the stuff my buddy at the dealership told me and i think i might check it again but i was thinkin my 210 while movin was a bit high

ill hit like 205 stopped at a light in 90 degree weather but as soon as i start to move it drops to 190 and below depending on how fast im going.

While moving that does seem kinda high. My 10r cruises at around 170 ish while moving, climbs drastically to 210 in traffic though. My 7 r stays right at 160 on the track. Water only in the 7r, stock coolant in the 10r.

i think i am going to check that out today and see if i can find out why it is running a little bit higher than usual

mine does the same thing. when rolling it's about 170/180.. when stopped, and a hot day, fan kicks on. but so far never runs real hot.
normal or not?
