Default How to prevent Key marks on Triple Clamp

I kept getting PO'd about my Disc lock and Kryptonite keys scratching/ marking up my top triple Clamp, so I used a pair of foam earplugs and made a hole and put the tip end of the keys inside. Now they don't make any marks and they don't rattle/ buzz either.

I've seen triple clamp pads made with the same material as tank pads are made of. They, however don't fit every bike.

I keep those 3 keys together but my Scorpio Alarm remote seperate. I guess I could always keep all the bike security keys together. Sounds simple enough and a great idea! Idid have my lock keys come off once while riding and it was a good thing that it fell down my fairing and stayed there. If I had it with my remote, I won't have to worry about that or the scratches. That was a good Fix. Thanks for the input everyone.

For my main keys that I always need to keep with me, I use the male end of a pull-apart keychain, and for all my vehicles, I have a seperate female cap on them. This way I can keep my keys together no matter what I decide to drive, or ride. [IMG][/IMG]
