i really could use a decent rear shock the resevoir is missing and im not sure just putting another resevoir on would fix it or if i could even get just a resevoir anyway, the bike is dependable daily driver for me it looks rouph but very strong and gets 44mpg. i just spent 300 on ebay getting brake parts and tires just really hard to find rear shock for these older zx9's even on ebay, and i cant put 600 into a new one.

 

The resevoir is missing on your shock and you still ride it? I am abit confused, but welcome to KF

 

Why not drag? Just let the back tire bounce around, it will be fine. :P

Try posting a want ad on craigslist, I found about 4-5 guys parting out bikes that i wouldnt have found any other way.

You should be able to get the complete shock assembly for $20-$50

Also look at the adjacent yrs and models from the big 4 since alot of times they use the same parts.
