my buddy's got a 500r twin, what kind of coolant should he run? anything special?

 

This is what is says in the 05 ex500r manual on coolant....."Use a permanent typa of antifreeze (soft water and ethylene glycol plus corrosion and rust inhibitor chemicals for aluminum engines and radiators) in the cooling system." this is then mixed at a 50/50 ratio. Hope that helps...

 

ethylene glycol is fancy for saying the green stuff.
