carb problems

Default carb problems

Been having problems with the carburator of my 2005 vulcan 800, already cleaned it twice, still sputters cant figure it out, any help would me appreciated

Can you be more specific on the problem? Sputtering can be caused by a number of problems, and I cant even begin to help. Does it sputter all the time? only under power? only at certain RPMs? only on starts? Let us know what its doing and we will be glad to help.

as mentioned above, can you be more specific? The same carb principles apply to all carbed rides and there are multiple help info out there. good luck

It seems when Im at a cruising speed it hesitates alot, but once I accelerate it seems to stop.

hmm, cruising speed/rpm at around 2500rpm? Possibly the slow circuit. What happens if you play with the choke during the cruise mode? So no hesitation when accelerating? What have you done to clean out the carbs? and at what float height have you set them? Just tossing out ideas, good luck

it more after i shift gears and slow down on the throttle

Have you modified the intake/exhaust? Checked the air filter? Fuel filter? What jets are you using?
