Does anyone own a 1976 Kawasaki KE175 on these forums? I have a couple questions while I'm waiting for my shop manual to come in. Just wondering if folks here have experience with it. I'm new to riding and bought one that is running and just needs a little tuning for $300. I want to convert it into a cafe racer too so any advice on where to get parts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

 

Welcome to KF. I have ridden the KE250 but did not use it as a cafe racer though. Congrats on the manual by the way. Nice to see someone plan ahead on the manual first then the questions.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I super stoked on getting this vintage bike exactly how I want it. I also have a 1973 yamaha dt3 I've been playing with too. Both run great, but I love the low profile of the Kawasaki. It's going to be a fun project. Thanks again!
