A leak from my left engine side cover appears to be coming from behind the oil pump. Has anyone else had this problem. I have nearly 60,000 mile on the bike. BikeBandit has the pump for $162. It looks to be coming from around the center shaft. I guess a pump replacement is in order.

 

wow 60,000 miles is impressive. does the new pump come with gaskets? oh welcome to KF btw

 

you should be able to price just a seal.
it'll work if the shaft is not worn.

if not, then i'd hope the new pump is supplied with that.

i haven't heard of this prob as of yet.. tho i'll keep my ears out now.. i work on bikes for a living so you figure i'd have run across this now? lol
