i know the whole systems will bolt up, but will the slip on fit the 250s head pipe? i was checking out the fmf Q series, mainly bc it has a spark arrestor and meets us forest sound regulations. what do yall think?

I suspect it will, but I've also heard that FMF hasn't officially confirmed anything. I think Kawasaki may be slow at getting representative bikes to the vendors, or the vendors are just slow at recognizing that this bike exists.
I rmember a few years bakc when the Japanesse sportbikes started comming out with stock underseat exhausts. It took the aftermarket 4-6 months to come up with a replacement.

The 250S headpipe is too short. You will need to get a stock or aftermarket klx250 or klx300 head pipe for it to work. I guess if you got creative, you could make some sort of adapter. I have a stock 1994 klx250 exhaust on my bike.

fyi. found white bros. header & silencer at bto sports for klx300. the head pipe appears to have brackets to attach heat shield.
dont know about sound levels on that pipe. will have to check into it. by the way muzzy looks good.
