Smile Picked up ZX14 Today!!!

Hi found this great site and just had to share I picked up my new 08 ZX14 today. What a ride. Bought the grey model and a solid grey Arai helmet. Looking for some ZX14 logo's to put on the helmet any ideas I checked Ebay and found nothing. Dealer didn't have anything either. My son (11) chose a pretty wild yet cool SHARK helmet with newspaper cut outs and eyes popping out. Being 36 I wanted something a little more layed back but would like to jazz up the solid grey. Hey thanks for a great site and if you know of anything please let me know. Have a wonderful day!!!

Welcome Chaz, And congrats on the 14. I have an 06 and still thnk it is the most awesome bike on the road. Just remember, the break in period is more for the rider than the bike. Get a lot of miles under you before you hammer it because when it gets over 6 grand on the tach, it goes into hyper warp. Youll see!
Have fun on your new bike man!

Welcome Chaz,
I also picked up my new ZX14 2007 last week, it was a GREAT DEAL on the 2007 and I couldn't resist. Mine is the blue and it is great.
CONGRATS and be safe, slowly until you have experienced the extra power.
I am 41 and I have been riding bikes since 8 years old.
Best of luck and post a picture of it, I have not seen a grey yet.

Congrats on the bike! Just about all of us that have 14s will tell you the same thing. Be careful and don't underestimate the power. Get some riding in before you really give it a twist. When you do, you'll see what I mean.

Why do you say ZX14R OBVIOUSLY! Did you ever try a Hayabusa?
Is the ZX14R (new) much better than the 2007 ZX14 I had it before? I found that the 2007 ZX14 I had was not so good in curves and turns...I heard they changed the frame after 2012, ANY THOUGHTS?

Thanks again,
Luiz

GUYS....GIRLS....
Just picked up my 2015 ZX14R, and by experience, it is a MUCH BETTER bike than the 2007 I had.

I also find it more tamed than the HAYABUSA (which I loved) but would not go back to it since it lacks some comfort and electronics!

The new bike frame and KTRC is really nice, I like it and am enjoying it.

Cheers and thank you for all the support.
