I just bought a 95 zxi 750 jet ski it is very clean and has not been used much maybe 20 hrs. my problem is it is a no start i replaced the battery but I get nothing when I turn the key. I read another post about opening up the gray box and looking for damaged wiring that will be next weeks project, any other input on this? things to look for? also the key part is broke but i can turn the switch on and off with a screw driver. here is the stupid question: where does the lanyard hook up on the ski? thanks

 

I know some jet skis have to have the lanyard hooked up to start and run that my be your problem. If not i would say maybe the key is causing the problems since your trying to start it with a screw driver.

 

I tore the electrical box apart and found the starter solenoid all corroded, I ordered a new one and a new ignition switch. it should be ready to fire in a week. thanks for the help!!!
