1984 klr250 strange problem
She ran good until the carb became clogged. I accidentally hooked up the battery backwards for a little bit during troubleshooting.....
Without a battery in it, she revs like crap up to 6-8k.
With a battery in it, she revs kinda crappy all the way and has no top end power.
The stator is ok, I think. .002 and .008 ohms on the 2 coils. Assuming I'm checking the right wires. 3 yellow and 1 red.
How do you check the CDI?
When I started to pull the stator cover (left side of engine, looking forward), engine oil came out. Is this normal?
