Hey peoples! Just recently got my motorcycle License and planning to get a ninja 500ex. Whatcha guys think for a starter bike? [:-]peace.

 

Welcome to the site! In my biased opinion, the 500 is a great bike to start out on. That is what I am starting out on. I've driven it around my neighbourhood a couple of times and it is AWESOME! I took an MSF course a couple of weeks ago and am testing for my license this coming Monday. Hopefully I'll get it this time

 

Welcome to the site...I think the 500 is a good bike to start out on. Just be careful, though it may seem small, it can do lots of damage. I know you've heard that from everyone, just get out there and have fun. Don't forget your gear.
