Hi my name is Bob and I recently bought a 1987 ZL1000 that is in Like New Condition 14,712 miles but I have a problem with the shifting,between 2nd and 3rd it sometimes stiff and has a binding feel and on Hard accelleration I get a missed shift between 2nd and 3rd.I have looked through the repair manuals and basically it could be shifting forks or return springs??? I dont know forsure Has anyone else have had this problem with their trans I would appreciate any help,is this a major undertaking to preform? the repair books do not provide any step by step and you have to look at the gpz900 maual and refrence back to the supplement book of the ZL1000 Thanks in Advance Bob.
