I was looking into buying a jacket that would provide protection and be cost effective. I found the power trip jacket (http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/b...le_jacket.html). From what I've read, everyone is saying that leather is the way to go. So I was wondering what you guys thought about it. Is this jacket worth it? And do you know of any other alternatives?

 

I just got an Icon Daytona jacket. I did some shopping around and got it for $260. The one that you are looking at looks to have the same thickness leather and some of the same features. But damn, what a price! Interested to hear what everyone else thinks.

 

Personally, I like leather and hard armor. New Enough sells both. Looks like a decent jacket for the money. All depends on how you ride, and what kind of weather you ride in most often.

 

dude pick that jacket up its only 75 dollars , even if you dont care to much for its looks its only 75 dollars. it may be hot in the summer thats why all my stuff is perforated leather, and you still will sweat.

 

Dang. For that price, it's a good deal.
