Default Water in my cylinder block

My engine won't start and I have water in my cylinder block. Any ideas what would have caused this and what I can do to fix?
I don't know much about thsi stuff so I'll give a littel more info that might sound stupid...
I pulled the head, exhaust elbow and manifold. There doesn't seem to be a problem with any of the gaskets, or the head. The exhasut is full of water though.
I originallyhad a bad battery and tried to start with hose attached, but no luck. Also, don't know what the water valve cable does, but I had pulled on that a couple of times. Didn't know what it was at the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

HEY, JUST WENT THRU THE SAME THING. FIRST, YOU DONT TURN THE HOSE ON UNTIL ITS RUNNING, THEN, ONLY A LITTLE BIT. I THINK YOU FLOODED THE ENGINE LIKE THE LAST OWNER OF MINE DID. THE WATER VALVE I'M ASSUMING YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IS A DUMP VALVE THAT OPENS THE LOWER CRANKCASE TO GET RID OF WATER IN THE ENGINE AFTER THE SKI ACCIDENTLY GETS CAPSIZED. HOLD IT OPEN FOR A MINUTE AND YOU WILL PROBABLY SEE WATER DRIPPING OUT OF IT.

Purchase new gaskets. Don't use sealer. Torque the parts back to OEM specs, get from your local dealer.
Try starting the engine and pull the cable to flush the engine. This will allow the compression built up in the crankcase to flush the engine more rapidly.
Use old spark plugs as they will get water in them.
Once you have removed the water from the engine, try choking the engine and starting the motor, with fresh plugs.. It is ok for the engine to run up to 15 seconds without water. If the engine stabilizes after starting, turn off choke and turn on water. Let it run for 10-15 minutes to build up some residule heat in all of the aluminium so the moisture will be disapated.

Default Water in engine

I've got water in my engine too. I cut the hose on before cranking it. It wouldn't start. When I pulled number three spark plug water was pooring in. Is that normal? I've never seen a motor that would do that. I'm wondering if the head gasket is blown?

chances are good that you will need a piston and rings and the cylinder will be ok. wsm piston and rings about 75.00 stock piston and rings about 125.00 good luck with your project you can change it out your self if you have a little mechanical ability.
