HELP. New '06 ZX 14 owner need basics.
Hi, Just came home with an '06 Zx 14 with 1100 miles on it. Owner turned it in to bank (afraid of speed). I need some help with real basic info. What octane gas? How do I remove seat/rear cowl to even see if owners manual is in there? Where can I get owner's manual? What should tir pressure be? I t feels a little squirrley and I have to wrestle with it a bit when turning like on to an interstate. Seems like the previous owner just went straight alot by looking at the tread wear. Is the heaviness and squirrlyness (new word) normal for the 14? I also have a Busa in the garage so I'm use to bigger bikes. Of course I'm takining it to a Kawa dealer next week for a complete check up but until then any help would be great. I live in Philly so if any Philly 14 drivers want to talk gove me a call.
Welcome to the forums.
I do not have a 14, but on the 10r, I just use the key to unlock it.
The squirliness issue, I am not sure either. Is the tire inflated at all? hahaha That ride should be stable, so something is amiss.

Seat unlockes from the underside close to the taillite on left side, then you use a phillips to remove seat cowl.
I've been running about 37-39 psi in my 06 for tire pressure.Shouldn't feel heavy.Check ur tire pressure.Mine turns in soooooo nice!!!!!!1 year and 3 months......15,500 miles and going to add another 2000 this weekend!!!!!Enjoy it.I do...

By the way, use 93 octane in your 14! If the tire is flat, with big chicken strips, it may make your bike feel a little squirley. Go out and twisty the chicken strips off of it as long as you feel that you can control it in the cuirves.
