Any suggestions on how to fix damage spark plug threads, besides taking to the dealer?

Do I need to disassemble or can it be done while still on the bike?

 

you don't have to disasemble there is a trick, but i forgot how it went. sorryim sure someone else will chyme in thoi hope.

 

Just wondering if anyone new the trick to installing a Helli Coil for the spark plug, without disassembling the motor..

And would anyone know what size of coil I would need??

helicoiling a spark plug whole without removing the head is a very risky operation. because if you get pits of metal down into the cylinder they can get between the piston and cylinder wall and scrath the hell out of the cylinder.

 

Now, does anyone know where I can purchase a 12 mm Spark Plug Repair Kit??? Tried everything local and no luck!
