my ? is can you replace the stock front pegs on a 2005 636 with after market pegs for an 04? any info on this would be much appreciated.

 

I'm pretty sure you can use from 98-05

You can try www.buykawasaki.com and see the parts diagrams for both bikes whether they use the same footpegs by matching the part numbers.
If they do, they most likely can use the same aftermarket pegs.

 

I bought some Gilles toolong rear sets for my 95 off of www.kneegraggers.com for pretty cheep. They have a part number for the 05 but for price they have "call". also you can check them out at www.gillestooling.com. If I remember corectly I only paid 360 for mine off knee. They price matched me from www.indysuperbike.com. Good luck finding what you want, The Gilles is a sweet set of rears.

 

just checked Indy, they have the Gilles priced at 425 for the 05's

 

According to Indy, they list them seperately for the 05 then the 03-04. Although its the same price, they don't list the part numbers for them either.

 

But when you go to the Gilles website, they just list from 03-present for the same rearset...so take an measurement of the mount bolts from center to center and I will do the same and we should be able to tell from that.
