Just purchased a Ninja..Need some info on Something.
Hello Kawasaki Forums,
I just purchased a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250, I have these Brake lights that have been modified in the rear, They light up RED however the plastic itself is BLUE to match the color of the motorcycle. Now my question is, if it lights up RED just like a normal brake light..does the blue lens cover make it illegal? I can't find any information on this specific topic.

That's a valid question. Since it lights up red, I would think it is a legal light. I guess you could check with your local
LEO and ask them.
LEO and ask them.
I would say it's legal but if your really interested in finding out got to a police staton and ask one of the cops there they should be able to tell you if not they might be able to look the laws for it.
I know the law in florida states blue and red lights are illegal only if they can be seen by the vehicle in front of you. Last time I checked it about 5 years ago. HELL i HAVE RED LEDS IN my headlights that flash when my blinkers are on. Tonight Acop passed right by me and never stop or turned around. Knock on wood could not find a wood smiley
