IT SHOULD BE PRE-MIX, MEANING YOU HAVE TO MIX THE OIL IN WITH THE GAS... check under the hatch to double check there ISN'Tan oil resevoir, which i doubt it, since kawasaki didn't introduce it until the mid 90's... double check though... and for reference, its 50:1 ratio, or at least thats what it was on my standup

Here is the deal. Your jet ski did come with oil injection. It is very common for these to have been removed. They removed them to ensure that the oil injection doesn't go bad causing the bearings to seize up and ruin the bottom end of your motor. To see if your ski still has this or not here is what you need to do. Open your hood inside of it you will find a large tank (fuel) toward the front of the ski. You will have one large tank with four hoses coming out of the top of it. Mounted onto that large tank is a smaller tank that holds your oil (2 stroke oil only!). Sometimes this secondary tank is removed with the pump to save weight. If the secondary tank is still there you need to see if you still have the oil injection pump. It is located on the front of the motor toward the bottom and is held in with 2 10mm bolts (the whole pump is about the size of a 50 cent piece. It will have a couple smaller clear hoses going from your secondary tank to the pump. I assume you have found what looks like an oil fill cap on the engine itself. It is black and mounted to the front of the engine up high where it is easy to get to. The oil injection pump should be located directly below that. If it has been removed it will have a block off plate there in place of the pump. If the block off plate is there you will have to mix your gas. 50:1 is typical, you can go as lean as 40:1 without any ill effects. This engine will have no oil in the crankcase. It is what they call a 2 stroke engine, the crankshaft is lubricated by the fuel and oil mix. If tghe pump is still there you just have to fill th secondary tank with 2 stroke oil and the pump should take care of the rest. Usually about 2 tanks of fuel and you will have to refill the oil tank. DO NOT LET THAT TANK GO EMPTY. YOU WILL BLOW YOUR ENGINE. Then as long as your pump continues to work you are good to go.
Good luck,
Rock
