Since I have added a trailer to my 2001 nomad 1500 I have been wondering if there is a larger alternator needed for the bike or if one even exists. I am assuming that the stock alternator is pretty much only good for the stock parts already on it. I bought it with the light bar already on it so that is extra and now the trailer lights too. Any comments or suggestions

I doupt those bitty light bulbs would drain your bike while it's on. But you could change the altinator sprocket to make it spin faster and it would produce more.
